Hidden wine country, on two wheels
THE EXPERIENCE
Discover the wine country of Castellón — a region where small, artisan bodegas craft wines from indigenous varieties that most visitors to Spain never encounter. While tourists flock to Rioja and Penedès, you'll cycle through landscapes of olive groves, almond orchards, and vineyards that have remained unchanged for generations.
This isn't wine tourism as usual. You'll meet the families behind the bottles, taste wines that rarely leave the province, cook paella in a vineyard, tread grapes with your bare feet, and cycle sections of the ancient Via Augusta — the Roman road that once connected Cádiz to Rome.
THE JOURNEY DAY BY DAY
Six days of cycling, wine, and discovery — each day designed to balance riding with deep cultural immersion.
